The most recent and popular studies show the growth of Latino or Hispanic immigrants in the United States, but according to a research by the Pew Research Center this will not be the ethnic group that dominates.

For 2055 it is estimated that Asians become the main immigrant group in the United States. By then, Hispanics will be the largest group of immigrants but, according to their analysis, the flow in which they enter the country will be lower than the one today.

According to the report, 47% of immigrants currently living in the United States are Hispanic, the percentage will fall to 31% by 2065, but meanwhile Asian, which currently account for 26%, will increase by 12 points for 2065 (38% ).

The Pew study based on official census data indicates that the number of Hispanics will fall due to the slowdown in immigration in the region and the decline in fertility rates, mainly in countries like Mexico

More specifically for 2055 it is expected that the Asians become the largest group of immigrants, with 36% of the population, versus 34% Hispanic.

For 2065, Pew projected to be 441 million people living in the United States, and 88% of this growth is attributed to future immigrants and their descendants.

Historical facts.

Fifty years ago 9.6 million people living in the United States were born abroad. Since then, about 59 million immigrants have arrived to that country.
